The Brits have a strange but cool balance of taste and hype. Duffy is definitely being pushed by the British star-making apparatus and tabloid press, but she still comes off as way more genuine than her American counterparts (Hillary Duff, Britney Spears, Pussycat Dolls, Miley Cyrus Hannah Montana Banana Fo-Fanna, etc. …).

In today’s episode we hear her speak a little and then go back to hear what she was doing in 2004.
